Before sunrise, you will be taken to the take-off point and given a brief safety briefing. You will then spend around an hour gliding over the Serengeti, experiencing the wildlife from a bird’s-eye view. After landing, a stylish breakfast awaits you in the bush.
The actual hot-air balloon ride usually lasts about an hour. Including collection, preparation and breakfast afterwards, you should allow several hours in total. Afterwards, your safari in a 4x4 can usually continue as normal.

Yes. The balloons are piloted by experienced pilots and only take off when weather and wind conditions are suitable. All guests receive a safety briefing before the flight. If the weather is unsuitable, the balloon safari may be postponed or cancelled for safety reasons.
