One of the most beautiful national parks in Africa, Tarangire National Park is located 120 km from Arusha and is famous for its dense wildlife population, which is particularly spectacular between June and December. This is when thousands of animals migrate from the dry Maasai plains to Tarangire River in search of water.
Among other things, you can see buffalo, elephant, lion, leopard, warthog, antelope and large herds of impala. The national park is also known for the tree python and is home to many species of birds.
